Preeti Vangani

Preeti Vangani is an Indian poet and writer based in San Francisco. She is the author of the poetry collections Mother Tongue Apologize (2019) and Fifty Mothers, forthcoming from River River Books this February. Her work has been published in The Georgia Review, Gulf Coast, Threepenny Review, and Prairie Schooner, among other places. A recepient of artist grants from YBCA and San Francisco Arts Commission, she holds an MFA in Writing from the University of San Francisco and currently teaches in the program.
