Left Margin LIT Scholarships

We’re excited to announce that Left Margin LIT now offers scholarships based on merit and financial need.

Our mission is to offer programs and mentorship to East Bay writers of all backgrounds and income levels. As such, we've launched a scholarship program to support writers who don’t have the financial capacity to take advantage of our workshops and classes.

The scholarship will allow 2-3 local writers to take a class of their choice at Left Margin LIT this winter, at no cost. Successful applicants will demonstrate dedication to the craft of writing as well as financial need. Applicants must be 18 or over.

This scholarship opportunity is made possible in part by a Civic Arts Grant from the City of Berkeley.

Next deadline: January 4, 2020.
