Join our Writers' Bootcamp at Left Margin LIT!

This fall we rolled out a new flexible schedule, featuring:

-Extended hours

-Your choice of schedule

-More social time with other writers

-Special guest editors and publishers: recent lunch visitors include Zoetrope: All-Story Editor Michael Ray and Stranger's Guide Managing Editor Kyla Kupferstein.

The purpose of bootcamp is to give you the accountability it's hard to give yourself, and the community that will help push you to write harder and better and more. Bootcamp will strengthen your writing routine and help you make forward progress on all your goals.

Bootcamp is hosted daily by Rachel and/or David. All genres, levels, and projects welcome. You’re free to come and go on your own schedule.

Daily Schedule from Monday-Thursday:

9:00 am — 12:00 pm: Writing!

12:00 pm — 1:00 pm: Continue writing, but small talk and lunch is also permitted. Special programs will occasionally be scheduled during this hour.

1:00 pm — 3:00 pm: More writing!

Register now--bootcamp fills up fast!

COVID notes:

1. Masks are optional.

2. Vaccinations are required. (We are no longer asking for record of vaccination and will now operate on an honor's system.)

3. Windows will remain open during bootcamp hours, so be sure to bring a warm jacket or sweater for chillier mornings.

**Please note that we are reserving your spot for the days you've paid for, whether or not you attend. There are no makeup dates for missed sessions.

Going Long

LML not only offers the space to write but a supportive community to help navigate what often feels like a lonely marathon.

                        — Hannah M.

Left Margin boot camp has been my writing oasis for a few months now, and I have never felt so organized and motivated to stay on track with my novel revision. Bonus: the coffee is hot and plentiful.

                         — Susan K.

Writing in this cozy workspace with the company of other focused writers has transformed my writing life (and life in general!) for the better.

                         — Kate O.
