About
Dates: 4 Mondays, February 23-March 16 Time: 7-9pm (Pacific Coast Time) Format: In Person at Left Margin LIT Ages: Adult Class Description: In this generative writing course, we aim to experiment with our fiction without pressure or evaluation. If you are feeling unsure about your writing, stuck in a project, or looking to begin something new, this course is designed to bring us to a place where writing feels fun, exciting, and possible. Each week we will have writing exercises designed to engage and play. We will write new pieces, seeing where our imagination takes us. We will experiment with voice, character, plot, structure, and tools. Together we will build an encouraging community in the classroom where we can take risks and stretch ourselves creatively. We can share our works with one another, but it is not required. We will also have some light assignments to guide discussion. LEFT MARGIN LIT'S CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: If you find that you can't take a class for which you registered, you may request a refund, less a $25 administrative fee, at least 48 hours prior to the start of the first class session. After that threshold, refunds are not possible. If a class doesn't reach its minimum enrollment, it will be cancelled, and all students will receive full refunds.
