Poetry Sprint: Three Poems in Three Hours

About

Date: Tuesday, July 21 Time: 6-9pm (Pacific Coast Time) Format: Zoom Ages: Adult Class Description: What happens when you stop overthinking and just write? In this lively, generative three-hour Zoom workshop, you’ll draft three brand-new poems using inventive prompts and focused bursts of writing time. Designed to invite creative risk, this session emphasizes momentum, discovery, and the power of writing in the moment. This session is designed to shake things loose. We’ll move quickly between writing and sharing, with space for immediate, verbal feedback that’s responsive, curious, and encouraging. Expect to take risks, follow strange ideas, and maybe even outwrite your own expectations. Come as you are! You’ll leave with three fresh drafts, a handful of new approaches to generating work, and the reminder that poems are already inside you, waiting to be written. LEFT MARGIN LIT'S CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: If you find that you can't take a class for which you registered, you may request a refund, less a $25 administrative fee, at least 48 hours prior to the start of the first class session. After that threshold, refunds are not possible. If a class doesn't reach its minimum enrollment, it will be cancelled, and all students will receive full refunds.
