Date: September 14 - 23 Time: Asynchronous Format: Slack Ages: Adult Class Description: "Flash in the Fall" is for all lovers of the short form. “Flash" is just what it sounds like—you write it in a flash. Some people call these "short-shorts" or "micro-stories.” What about prose poems? All are welcome. This class is asynchronous, so you can join from any time zone and any location. On September 14, you’ll come up with a concrete writing goal for the following 10 days, whether it's to draft 10 short shorts, prose poems, or hybrid forms. You could even commit to 10 paragraphs of a short story or the novel you’ve been struggling to finish. Every day you'll receive a prompt focused on different aspects of craft and voice. The class is designed to challenge and motivate you—and to be fun. Sharing is encouraged! One optional Zoom "write-in" with Susie will be offered. Join us! LEFT MARGIN LIT'S CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: If you find that you can't take a class for which you registered, you may request a refund, less a $10 administrative fee, at least 48 hours prior to the start of the first class session. After that threshold, refunds are not possible. If a class doesn't reach its minimum enrollment, it will be cancelled, and all students will receive full refunds.
