Persona and Writing the Self: Personal Essay Workshop (On Zoom)

Dates: 2 Saturdays, January 25 - February 1

Time: 1 - 3pm
Instructor: Tyler Mills
Ages: Adult
Genre: Personal Essay/Memoir
Price: $195

You can write about anything and make it interesting. The trick is letting the story you tell become a story of how the persona, the "I" of the essay, grapples with, discovers, or faces the unexpected.

This two-day workshop will focus on the craft of the personal essay, where you'll be invited to brainstorm and then draft original nonfiction, and then you'll receive feedback during a workshop where you can later revise what you've written. This workshop is geared toward writers new to the genre and writers working on memoirs.
